Horizontal cable sintering furnaces

In order to meet the need to seal insulated cables for the completion of the conductor production process, WTM has developed sintering ovens with infrared technology.
The infrared sintering furnaces can be purchased individually and integrated into existing taping lines or rewinding equipment.

Main features:
- automatic opening/closing system;
- forward and backward movements during the start/stop phase to avoid burning the cable;
- different configuration and dimensions: 1.5, 2 or 3 meters of length;
- 3 or 4 independent sintering zones;

Technical details:
- maximum temperature: 450 °C (1.5 meter long oven) or 550 °C (3 meter long furnace);
- heating tunnel insulated with mineral and ceramic fibers whose external surface does not exceed 80-100 °C;
- special thermocouple for each infrared radiation panel connected to the PLC for integrity check;
- SCR zero crossing regulator and thermocouple sensor control for each sintering zone.

The technical features can be customized to meet the customer's specific production requirements.
