Single-twist stranding machines in single shaft design

The WTM stranding machine is suitable for the production of extremely flexible multipolar cables at high speed.
The absence of rotating electromechanical devices (motor, gearbox, encoder, etc.) allows to avoid the stress on critical components
The cable path is designed with a minimum bending angle and has reduced contact with the guiding pulleys.

Main advantages of WTM stranding machines:
- precise control of the tension of the individual elements;
- the cable path is designed to avoid excessive bending of the single elements and the final cable, in order to maintain quality and ensure the absence of residual twist;
- flexibility in the configuration of the line, through the use of concentric backtwist pay-offs, rotating capstan, concentric and longitudinal taping units, etc;
- use of high quality components;

Main Features:
- suitable for reels from 400 to 1250 mm;
- rotation speed up to 1000 RPM;
- tension control by direct torque or rotating dancer;
- precise stranding pitch (with possible use of a rotating capstan disc);
- possibility to add a rotating capstan with integrated dancer, which provides the required stability during tensioning and lay length consistency for high technology cable production.
